Frequently asked questions about credit repair and credit restoration

You will find that when dealing with CRE Credit Services, we make everything as simple as possible for our customers. Let us do the hard work, clearing up your credit history and potentially gaining a higher credit ranking for you. We have over 20yrs combined experience dealing with the credit reporting agencies within our friendly and knowledgeable staff and we look forward to working with you.

Below you will find answers to some of the most frequent questions our clients ask:

What do you do?

There are Federal and State Laws in place to protect you from creditors reporting inaccurate information to your creditor reports. We enforce these laws. Think of us as the credit police. We don’t just write letters to the credit bureaus or dispute online like most companies. The majority of our work is done directly with the actual creditors. We are professional auditors, not just a letter writing service.

How long does it take?

You will start seeing results in as little as 30-45 days and our complete process runs about 90 to 180 days on average.

How long will it take to remove this item of my credit?

There is no real way to accurately calculate when an item is going to be deleted because each creditor can respond differently. Our audit is intense! We use delivery confirmation mail to investigate the negative information on your reports.  They have to sign off to receive our letters. This puts them in a position to either respond or delete. This speeds up the process.

How long have you been in business?

We have over 20 years experience in the credit restoration industry.

How do I know you guys are a legitimate business?

There are Federal and State requirements that have to be in place to operate legally. First, we are registered with the Secretary of State; which means we are governed by the State. Second we are bonded with a recognized surety bond of $10,000 for your protection. So, we are held accountable by the states governing authorities and you don’t have to worry.

If an item gets removed, will it come back on?

No, it is permanent because we go straight to the origination point and audit the creditors directly.  Once the item is removed and they are proven to be out of compliance, they have no legal recourse to go back and put it on your report.

How are you going to get this off my report if it really is mine?

Over 70% of all credit reports contain errors.  However, not only do the creditors have to provide supporting documentation in a reasonable amount of time by law, there are also hundreds of additional consumer laws and statutes that protect you from having your information reported inaccurately. That’s where we come in. Our research team is trained to find these inaccuracies and violations of law and make sure they are reporting all information correctly. Errors of any kind can allow us to get inaccurate negative accounts removed from your credit file. To put it simply, we hold them accountable to the law.
